Introducing the 24MM TTO Printer Thermal Transfer Overprinter from Xiamen Hanin Co., Ltd. This innovative technology allows for high-resolution printing up to 203dpi or 300dpi by transferring ink from a ribbon to the substrate using a printhead.
The printhead consists of miniature print elements coated in ceramic, while the thermal printer ribbon is coated with a colored wax and/or resin mixture. When heated, the mixture on the ribbon melts and transfers color to the substrate as it passes under the printhead.
These thermal transfer printers can operate in continuous or intermittent printing modes, providing high-resolution print quality on fast-moving production lines. They are versatile, capable of printing various messages such as pricing, date and time coding, barcodes, QR codes, logos, ingredients lists, and marketing messages.
